Hi there,
I am so sorry to bother you. I am just enquiring about a US high school exchange for 2022 (ideally starting at the beginning of the school year).
I am 15 years old (I was born in September (2006)) and live in Sydney, Australia, in 10th grade. I can provide required academic and extracurricular records (including being the DUX- the top academic student in a year of school for 2 years in a row for my year group, and representative athletics).
I would love to have an American highschool experience.
Is it possible to attend the school for 2/3 months? If this is a possibility, would you be able to give me an idea of the expenses involved? This time frame is only what I could get my parents to agree to!
What would daily life (weekday and weekends) look like?
I am only 15, so my parents are obviously concerned about the safety and supervision provided by the boarding staff. Will there be supervision at all times during the week and weekend?
I have completed the pre-application form on your website 🙂
Thanks so much, I look forward to hearing from you and hope we can work something out!
We only do exchanges through Rotary’s program, which are either one month or a full school year. You would need to apply through Rotary in your area.

I am Dan Converse with the District 5110 youth exchange program. I recently interviewed a young man who was visiting his grandfather in Grants Pass, OR. He’s from Desert Hot Spring. I am trying to find someone he can contact in his district regarding SCANNEX. He’s just entering high school, so immediate contact isn’t critical. However, I would like him to have contact information regarding your program. He is committed to doing an exchange and seems like a good candidate.
Any help you can give will be appreciated.
Thanks!
